    Email us from the email address linked to your account. Use the subject “HAILM Account Deletion Request”.

    Email support@hailm.org

    Submit your request online

    We will verify the requester before any account or data is deleted.

    What to include

    1. Your registered email address or phone number.
    2. Your role: student, teacher, parent/guardian, or school user.
    3. Your school name, if the account is managed through a school.

    Never send your password, one-time password (OTP), payment card details, or government identity number. We may ask for limited information to verify that the request is authorised.

    Requests for children and school-managed accounts

    A parent or legal guardian may request deletion for a child. A school coordinator may request deletion of a school-managed account where the school is authorised to do so. Please state your relationship to the learner so we can complete the appropriate verification.

    Data that will be deleted

    After verification, we will delete or irreversibly anonymise, as applicable:

    • the account and profile information;
    • learning progress, assessment attempts, and activity linked to the account;
    • contact information that we are not legally required to retain; and
    • forum or community content, or its link to the account, where applicable.

    Data that may be retained

    We may retain limited records when required for tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, child safety, certificate verification, consent evidence, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. Retained data is restricted to those purposes and kept only for the applicable retention period described in our Privacy Policy.

    Processing time and help

    We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, unless applicable law requires or permits a longer period. For privacy escalation, contact grievance@hailm.org.
